Cream Crisco, butter and sugar together until light
and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, breathing
well after each.
In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder
and salt.
In a measuring cup, mix the milk, lemon flavoring
and vanilla.
Alternately add portions of dry and wet ingredients
to butter, sugar and egg mixture, blending as you
go, and ending with the wet ingredients. Pour into
greased and floured tube or Bundy pan. Bake in
preheated 325 degree oven for 1 hour and 20
minutes. Do not open oven door. Remove from oven
and let stand for 10 minutes. Turn out of pan and
wrap in Saran wrap while still warm.
