     Lightened Up Parmesan Sausage Orcchiette

Ingredients
1 box dried orcchiette pasta
3 cups broccolini, roughly chopped
2 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
4 cloves garlic, diced
1/2 onion, chopped
2 links pre cooked chicken sausage, cut into rounds
1/4-1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Salt
 
Pepper
Garlic salt
Basil, chopped

Instructions
Cook pasta in salted boiling water. During the last minute while the pasta is cooking, add in the chopped broccolini. Strain and keep warm. In the same pot, heat the olive oil and butter. Add in the garlic and onion, cooking until the onion is translucent, stirring constantly. Season with plenty of garlic salt, regular salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Add in the chicken sausage to warm, then mix the pasta mixture back into the pot. Stir in the parmesan, chopped basil, and taste to check the seasonings, adding more to taste. Enjoy!
