Self-rising flour- 1 cup flour plus 1 1/2 tsp baking powder.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, add flour, sugar and beer. Stir together until just blended. The mixture will be lumpy. Pour into a greased bread loaf and bake for 50 minutes. Remove from oven and pour melted butter evenly on top of bread. Put back in oven and bake for another 10 minutes.
