Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix the butter, sugar, egg and vanilla
thoroughly. Mix together the dry ingredients and add to creamed
mixture, alternately with sour cream. Chill dough.

Roll out dough to about 1/4 inch thick. Cut into shapes and place
on greased baking sheet. Sprinkle with sugar and bake 8-9
minutes. Decorate or ice as desired.

Can be layered with icing in the middle!
