     Crab Cakes

Ingredients
1lb shredded crabmeat
2 cups fine dry white bread crumbs
1/4 cup mayonaise
3 eggs lightly beaten
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Oil for frying
 

Instructions
Place all ingredients except 1 cup bread crumbs and the oil in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Form into balls. Roll and coat well with reserved bread crumbs, patting down slightly into flat , plump cakes.
Fry cakes until golden brown on both sides, approximately 4 or 5 minutes. Drain briefly on paper towel.
