cover noodles with water in sauce pan. bring to boil and immediately reduce to low. cover (very important)and simmer about 20-25min. stir often the noodles will swell and absorb most of the water. you may have to add water as it cooks, you want it remain moist. when noodles are cooked, add milk and salt and cheese. it is easier for the cheese to melt it you cut it into cubes. I usually add some cheddar cheese also
