Category   Breakfast - Brunch
Sub Category   None
Servings   13 small
Preptime   20-30 min

Ingredients
200g all purpose flour
100g butter
Cold water to mix
Pinch of salt
Filling-
About 13 tblspoons mincemeat
Oil to fry (I have used coconut oil) shallow fry, no need deep fry
Milk to brush the top
About 1 tblspoon sugar to sprinkle

About 1 teaspoon cinnamon to sprinkle

Instructions
I had this left over mincemeat and I had done these delicious Empanadas!
Pastry- Mix flour and salt in a bowl, rub in butter. Add water to form a paste. Turn dough on a floured surface and roll out. Cut in rounds, put some mincemeat in it. Dump the edges, and fold over and press well together. Press edges with a fork and brush top with milk. Meanwhile put some oil in a frying pan and when it start bubbling reduce heat and fry the Empanadas. Stay with the pan. Put a plate aside cover with a kitchen tissue paper, so when you fry them, from both sides put them on the plate. Meanwhile mix the sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl. When ready roll them in the mixture of cinnamon and sugar. Serve hot, but when cold, you can put them in the microwave. You can have them cold too but I prefer them hot, taste yummy --) Enjoy the taste with a cup of coffee or tea!
Serving Suggestions
At tea time or coffee time
