(I recommend soaking the asparagus like you would ears of corn, after trimming)Layer asparagus in bottom of baking tray, and coat evenly with vinegar. Sprinkle with seasoning salt and white pepper. (Use white pepper to taste, it looks less potent than it is). Once coated, drop onto very hot grill (best flavor with charcoal). It will take 5-10 minutes to cook depending on size of stalks. These will need to be watched carefully, so they do not burn.
