1 oz. blended Scotch (or Whiskey) if you prefer
1 oz. Applejack
1 oz. Cardamom Maple Syrup (2 C. Grade B maple syrup; 2t. whole cardamom pods)
1 oz. lemon juice
1/2 oz. egg whites
1 oz. cranberry juice

Cardamom syrup- combine syrup and pods. Steep over medium heat for 12-15 minutes. Strain syrup before storing.
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass. Fill with ice and shake. Strain into a lowball glass and serve with ice.
