     Pie Dough

Ingredients
1 C margarine or butter
1 C shortening
6 C flour
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
2 tsp. vinegar
1 C cold water
 

Instructions
Mix together butter, shortening and flour until crumbly. Mix together egg, vinegar and water. Make a depression in the butter flour mixture and pour the water mixture in it. Mix only enough to moisten the dough. Roll at room temperature. Using a Tupperware mat or similar to roll out the crust makes it easy to pick up the dough. Plastic wrap can also be used on top to help the dough not stick and keeps you from adding too much extra flour.
Bake empty pie shell at 400 degrees for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
