Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt, and set aside. Combine butter, sugars, and vanilla and beat until creamy. Add sifted ingredients and blend will. Add chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoon onto untreated baking sheets.
Bake at 350 degrees 8 - 10 minutes.
