     Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Ingredients
1 onion sliced
1/4 cup flour
2-1/2 pound boneless beef chuck or pot roast
1 (1.2 ounce) package dry beef gravy mix
1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix
1 (.7 ounce) package dry Italian salad dressing mix
1/2 cup water
carrots and potatoes (optional)
 

Instructions
Spread the onion slices on the bottom of the cooker. Sprinkle the roast with flour to coat all sides. Sear roast on all sides with a little olive oil, salt and pepper. Place in slow cooker on top on onions. whisk together beef gravy mix, ranch dressing mix, Italian dressing mix and water in a bowl. Pour over meat. Toss in some carrots and potatoes if desired. Cover and cook on high 6-8 hours or until roast is tender.
