     Pumpkin scones

Ingredients
1 cup of cooked pumpkin (Mashed) (1 tasse de citrouille cuite et en puree)
1 Tbsp soft butter (1 CaS de beure fondu)
1/2 tsp salt (1/2 C a C de sel)
1/2 cup of sugar (1/2 tasse de sucre)
1 egg (1oeuf)
2 Cups of self raising flour, or 2 cups of plain flour - 3 Tsp baking soda
(2 tasse de farine - 3 CaC de levure chimique)
 

Instructions
Beat the butter, sugar and salt together then wisk the egg and the pumpkin (Melanger le beure fondu, le sucre, l'oeuf and la citrouille)
Very gently stir in the flour until it is only just mixed. This is a crucial step in making scones, as over mixing the flour will cause your scones to end up dense and hard (Tres delicatement incorporer la farine jusqu'a ce quelle soit juste melangee. Cette etape est cruciale dans la fabrication des scones car si vous melanger trop la farine vos sconnes finiront trop dense et sur).
Make tbsp size piles on baking tray, if you have some pumpkin seeds you can sprinkle some on the top of the scones (faire a l'aide d'une cuillere en bois ou a soupe de petits tas sur du papier sulfurise, si vous avez es graine de citrouille vous pouvez en parsemer le haut des scones).
Bake for about 15min at 220deg C. (faire cuire dans un four a 220deg pendant 15min)
