     Joel's Best Buttermilk Pancakes

Ingredients
1 egg
1 cup buttermilk (lait fermenté)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil (not olive oil)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
 

Instructions
This batter really needs to sit for at least 1/2 hour before use. It is better if it can sit for a couple hours. So, plan ahead...It can rest overnight in the refrigerator The ingredients MUST be added in the order listed to achieve the best quality.
Beat egg. Add remaining ingredients in order. Blend till nearly smooth. Let rest for at least 1/2 hour at room temperature.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with hot maple syrup, mimosas, and good company.
