300 baking pan line bottom and sides parchment
Make crust. Stir melted butter, sugar, vanilla, salt together Add
flour and stir. Press evenly into pan Bake 15 mns
Make apple filling. Combine sliced apples, flour, sugar, cinnamon,
nutmeg, in bowl until all apples are coated. Set aside.
Make streusel. Whisk oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, flour, together.
Cut in chilled butter with pastry blender, until coarse crumbs.
Remove crust from oven. Turn oven 350. Evenly layer the apples,
on top of warm crust. Layer tightly, press down, looks like too
much, NOT, Sprinkly with streusel. 30-35mns
Cool 20 mns room temp, then chill 2 hrs refrigerator or overnight.
Lift parchment paper out using the overhang on sides. Cut into
bars. When cut, por caramel sauce over top.
Keeps room temp 3 days, freeze 3 mos
