     Earthquake Cake

1 german chocolate cake mix
1 small bag coconut
1 small bag chocolate chips
1 small bag toffee bits
carmel topping
1 block cream cheese
1 cube butter
2 C. powdered sugar

Spread coconut, chocolate chips and toffee bits in bottom of 9X13 pan. Make cake mix according to directions. Spreak over chips. Mix together topping ingredients. Spread carefully over cake mix, trying not to mix in. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Cream cheese mixture will tunnel into the cake to create chasms. Drizzle carmel topping over hot cake.
To make cake release easier, line the cake pan with wax paper, turn cake out after cooling and then turn over again onto a cake plate so cream cheese mixture is on top.
