     Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients
1 package cream cheese (8 ounces)
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups powdered sugar, sifted
1 Tablespoon milk (plus a teaspoon or two, depending upon desired consistency)
 

Instructions
Combine all frosting ingredients and mix well on low speed with an electric mixer. Spread over cooled cake. Garnish with crushed pecans, if desired.
