Heat oven to 350. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm
water and set aside. In a large bowl mix milk, sugar, melted
butter, salt and egg. Add 2 c. Flour and mix till smooth. Add
yeast mixture. Mix in Remaining flour until dough is easy to
handle . (Dough will be sticky). Knead dough on a floured
surface for 5-10 minutes.( as you knead dough it will become
easier to handle as some of the flour on the surface works in).
Place in a greased bowl, cover, let rise until double in size,
usually 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
When doubled in size, punch down dough. Roll out on a
floured surface into a 15 by 9 inch rectangle. Spread melted
butter all over dough.
Mix sugar and cinnamon and add pecans and sprinkle on dough . Beginning at the 15
inch side, roll dough and pinch
edges. Slice and let rise in pans 45 min. Cook 25-30 min. Mix glaze and pour over top
when slightly cooled.
