     Caramel Apple Cake

6 cups Granny apples, peeled and sliced (about 6 apples)
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/1 c. sugar
3 c. flour
3 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp.
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. whipping cream
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream eggs, oil and sugars.
Add dry ingredients and mix.
Add apples. Pour into two 9x13 pans or one large one. Bake at 350 for 1 hours or less for one pan.
Mix glaze ingredients in saucepan. Boil for 2-3 min. and pour on hot cake. Sprinkle nuts if desire.
Serving Suggestions
Glaze optional. Cake is already super sweet.
