     LADY LOCK SQUARES

Ingredients
1 BOX PEPPERIDGE FARM FROZEN PASTRY SHEETS
1 CUP MILK
5 TBSP FLOUR
1 CUP SUGAR
1TSP VANILLA
A CUP CRISCO SHORTENING
 

Instructions
CUT PUFF PASTRY SHEETS INTO 1-2 INCH SQUARES. BAKE AT 350 DEGREE FOR 10-15 MINUTES(LIGHT BROWN AND PUFFY). COOL. LIFT OFF TOP AND FILL. DUST WITH POWDERED SUGAR.
FILLING COOK MILK AND FOUR UNTIL THICK. LET COOL. BEAT CRISCO, SUGAR AND VANILLA UNTIL FLUFFY. ADD COOLED MILK MIXTURE AND BEAT UNTIL WELL BLENDED. COOL FILLING COMPLETELY BEFORE FILLING COOLED PASTRY.
