Cream butter and sugar.
Add salt and vanilla.
Add eggs 1 at a time.
Mix flour and b powder together and add
alternating with milk.
Put 1/2 mixture in buttered dish. Cover with
apples and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Cover with remaining topping.
Cook at 180C for 40-50 mins until cooked.
Take out of oven and poke all over with holes
and then immediately pour over caramel.
Caramel-
Bring ingredients to boil and simmer for approx 10
mins.
Pour over pudding while hot. Can be made ahead, cooled and then
poured over pudding, however pudding needs to be hot.
