     Sour Dough Starter

Ingredients
1 pkg Active Dry Yeast
1/4 C. Luke Warm Water
2 C. Warm Water
1 1/2 C. Flour
1 tbs Sugar
 

Instructions
In a quart jar or crock add 1/4 C. water and yeast. Allow to rest 15 minutes
Add remaining water, flour and sugar. Cover with a cloth. Leave over night at room temp.
stir as it rises up and leave out until desired sour taste is reached.
Refrigerate and replace what you use with equal parts flour and water to keep starter alive
