     Doughnut Muffins

Ingredients
3/4 C. Butter Softened
2/3 C. Packed Brown Sugar
1/4 C. Sugar
2 Eggs
1 1/4 C. Milk
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
3 C. AP Flour
2 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
3/4 tsp Salt
 
1/2 tsp Ground Nutmeg
1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
Coating-
1 C. Course Sugar
1 tbs Cinnamon
1/3 C Butter Melted

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light nd fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in milk and vanilla. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture; stir until moistened
Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups three-fourths full. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpicks in center comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes Remove and place on wire rack.
Meanwhile for frosting combine corse sugar and cinnamon. Dip tops of warm muffins in butter then coat in sugar mixture
