Add milk to the corn starch and cook stirring constantly until thick. Set aside to cool, (but do not let it get cold).
In a bowl, blend butter, crisco and sugar until smooth.
Add corn starch/milk mixture and vanilla and beat until mixture is smooth and creamy.
