     Lemon Meringue Pie

Ingredients
1 cup water
4 Tbsp grated lemon peel
3/4 cup white sugar
dash salt
6 Tbsp corn starch mixed into 1/2 cup water
2 egg yolks
1 Tbsp. margarine
6 Tbsp. lemon juice
meringue
 
2 egg whites
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Instructions
1. Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil 2. Add corn starch mixture. Boil until thick. Stir, and remove from fire.
3. Add egg yolks, margarine and lemon juice to the mixture off the flame. Cool and add to baked pie crust
4. whip up egg whites, sugar and lemon juice and put on top of the pie 5. brown a little in oven
