     Hash Brown Casserole

Ingredients
2 lb Hash browns cubed not shredded
2 c sharp cheddar grated
1/2 c melted butter
1/2 c chopped onion (optional)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 pt sour cream
2 c crushed corn flakes
1/2 cup melted butter
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. Mix and stir 2nd thru 6th ingredients. Fold in potatoes. spread in 9 x 13 pan. Bake for 1 hour 15 minutes. Half way thru baking, top with the crushed corn flakes mixed with melted butter. Finish baking.
