Heat oven to 400°. When ready to bake, turn down to 375° for 45-60 minutes Mix the peeled, cored apples, sugar, cinnamon and flour.
Get 3 Tbsp of lemon juice and zest, from one lemon. Pour into crust and add 3 Tbsp butter. Cover with second crust.
Burst crust with glaze of 1 large egg, beaten with 1 Tbsp cream
