Cook in a double boiler the egg yolks, sugar, pineapple syrup, lemon juice and butter. Cook until thick. Cool.
Whip 2 c whipping cream. Fold into egg mixture and add the drained pineapple, marshmallows, oranges and sweet cherries.
Let set overnight.
Note- also penciled in is 9 beaten egg yolks, 6 Tbsp sugar, 6 Tbsp pineapple syrup, 6 Tbsp lemon juice and 6 Tbsp butter. She also penciled in 3 c whipping cream.
