     Lemon Bars for 12 x 17 pan

Ingredients
1-1/2 c butter or margarine
3 c flour
3/4 c powdered sugar
6 Tbsp flour
3 c sugar
3/4 tsp baking powder
Lemon rind
6 eggs well beaten
 
6 Tbsp lemon juice
powdered sugar icing

Instructions
Mix and bake the butter, flour and powdered sugar pressed into a 12 x 17 pan. Bake for 15 mn at 325°. Sift the flour, sugar and baking powder and add to it the 6 well beaten eggs, lemon juice and lemon rind. Pour over the baked crust and bake at 350 for 25 minutes (plus).
Frost with powdered sugar icing.
