     Buttery Shortbread Cookies

Ingredients
2 cups butter, cut into pieces
1 cup brown sugar
4 1/2 cups flour
sprinkles
 
Instructions
Oven 325. Mix butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add 3 1/2 cups flour and mix well.
Knead dough by hand 5 minutes adding remaining 1/2 cup flour. Work in sprinkles. Wrap in plastic and chill 30 minutes.
Roll out 1/2 inch thickness and cut into shapes. Cook 15-20 minutes until edges are golden brown.
