     Civiche - canned tuna

Ingredients
7 oz chunk white tuna packed in water
2 tbsp minced red onion
1-2 limes
1 plum tomato, seeded and diced
1 jalepeno, minced
1/2 avocado, sliced
1 tsp olive oil
2 tbsp cilantro, chopped
3 drops Tabasco sauce
 
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
Combine onion, pinch of salt, lime juice and olive oil
Mix in cilantro, jalapeno, tuna, tomato and Tobasco
Taste for salt and lime juice, adjust as needed
Cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes. Top with sliced avocado
Serving Suggestions
Double or triple recipe; substitute with salmon or white fish
