     Texas Sheet Cake

Ingredients
2 cups flour (cake part)
2 cups sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 sticks butter
1 cup water
3 tbsp cocoa
1/2 cup sour cream
2 eggs
 
3tsp vanilla
Frosting
1 stick butter
5 tbsp milk
3 heaping tbsp cocoa
16 oz box powder sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup chop nuts (optional)

Instructions
Cake- Mix together flour, sugar, baking soda, salt. Bring to boil butter, water, & cocoa. While still hot, add to flour mixture. Along with, sour cream, eggs, vanilla. Beat about one minute at medium speed.
Pour into a floured & greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes, DO NOT PREHEAT OVEN.
Frosting- Bring to boil and cook one minute over medium heat- butter, milk, & cocoa. After this has cooled a few minutes add- powder sugar, vanilla, & nuts. Frost cake while still very warm--can be done right out of oven
