Melt caramels with milk. Mix together oatmeal,
flour, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt; add
melted butter. Press 2/3 of mixture into bottom
of 9x13-inch ungreased pan. Bake 10 min. at 350
degrees. Remove from oven. Sprinkle on
chocolate chips and nuts. Spread caramel
mixture over top and remaining flour/oatmeal
mixture over caramel. Bake 15 minutes more.
Cool before cutting.
