     Candied Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients
medium sized potatoes
2/3 cup sugar or splenda
1/3 cup water
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Boil sweet potatoes in water until tender. Drain off water and remove the skins. Cut in halfs, lengthwise, and put them in a great, shallow pan
Make a sirup by boiling the sugar, water, and butter (the sirup is ready as soon as it stars to boil). Pour the sirup over the potatoes.
Bake for 20 minutes or until a delicate brown, basting occasionally with the sirup.
Serving Suggestions
1 potato = 2 servings
