medium sized potatoes

2/3 cup sugar or splenda
|

1/3 cup water
|
|
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
|

Instructions |

|
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
|
|
|
Boil sweet potatoes in water until tender.
Drain off water and remove the skins.
Cut in halfs, lengthwise, and put them in a great, shallow pan
|
|
|
Make a sirup by boiling the sugar, water, and butter (the sirup is
ready as soon as it stars to boil).
Pour the sirup over the potatoes.
|
|
|
Bake for 20 minutes or until a delicate brown, basting
occasionally with the sirup.
