Wash brisket and place in pan. Slice onion and place on top of
brisket. Mix onion soup mix, ginger ale and ketchup (almost a full
bottle) and place on top of brisket. Make sure bottom of pan has
liquid as well.
Cover and cook 1 hour covered at 350. Remove from oven and slice.
Place back into sauce, cover and cook an additional 2 - 3 hours.
