Instructions
This is such a feel good summer time type sandwich. Broccoli slaw is healthy and pairs well with BBQ. This recipe is pretty simple. Use your handy crock pot! Instructions- Season Boston Butt with 4 tbsp of garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, black pepper, and salt. Add 1 cup of dices onions, 1 cup of chopped leeks, and 1 cup of dices celery, 1/2 cup of vinegar. Fill with enough water to cover meat. Cook on low for 7-8 hours. Pour most of water off. Add 2 cups of BBQ sauce, 1/2 cup raspberry jelly, 1/3 cup of ketchup, 1/3 cup soy sauce. Simmer for an additional hour. Broccoli slaw- Mix pre packaged broccoli slaw with 1/2 cup ranch dressing, 1/3 cup lemon juice, 1 tbsp kosher salt, 1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper. Mix well. Add pulled pork to onion buns. Top with broccoli slaw. Yummy!
