lay out the puff pastry. place the chocolate bar in the center third.
cut diagonal lines along the left and right side of the
chocolate bar about 1 inch apart. remove the corner pieces.
fold the top down. starting from the top, fold down the flaps alternating right
and left until you are close to the bottom. fold the bottom up
and finish alternating left and right. tuck any extra puff pastry underneath.

place the braided puff pastry on parchment paper lined
baking tray. brush with egg wash and sprinkle nuts on top.

|
bake at 415 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
|
|
|
cut individual servings (about 8-10 per sheet) and serve immediately.
a dollop of whipped cream makes it even more yum.
