Combine first 5 ingredients stirring well. Set Aside.
Beat one cup butter at medium speed with electric mixer,
gradually adding sugar , add eggs, one at a time, beating
well after adding each addition.
Combine 3 cups flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt;
add to butter mixture alternately with sour cream, beginning
and ending with flour mixture. Mix just until blended after
each addition. stir in vanilla .
Pour half of batter into greased and floured 12 c bundt pan.
Sprinkle pecan mixture over batter; pour remaining batter
over pecan mixture. Bake at 325 degrees for one hour and
15 minutes or until wooden toothpick comes out clean. Cool
in pan 10 minutes remove from pan and cool completely on a
wire rack. Makes one 10 inch cake
