2 to 3 green peppers- 1 pound thinly-sliced green bell pepper
2 to 3 red Peppers- 1 pound thinly-sliced red bell pepper
2 large onions- 2 pounds thinly-sliced yellow or sweet onion
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 teaspoons sea salt, more or less, to taste
1 tablespoon fennel seed
Instructions
add 1/4 of an inch of water to pan bring to a
boil then adjust to simmer sausage for 20 min.
turn over after 10 min. turn over with tongs.
Almost all the water is gone then brown your
sausage in a skillet add 4 tablespoons of Olive
oil and 4 tablespoons of butter. Brown on both
sides for 3 to 4 min. then after about 8 min
take sausage out of pan. Add Salt, pepper
flakes, dried oregano fennel seeds, peppers and
onions sautee' and add back the sausage
