     Sweet and Sour Pork over Rice

Ingredients
10 lbs. seasoned pork cut into strips or cubes
2 qts. of Water
2 qts.Sweet and Sour Sauce
1 cup cornstarch comined with 2 cups . water
2 cups each - diced onions, celery, carrots
4 lbs Oriental Blend Vegetables and Snow Peas
 

Instructions
1) Brown seasoned pork in some oil in large skillet. 2) Add diced raw vegetables, sauté for 5 minutes. 3) Add 2qts water and simmer until pork is tender. 4)Add SS Sauce and simmer 10-15 minutes. 5)Slightly steam frozen vegetables and add to meat. Do not overcook as they will simmer more when combined w/ meat. 6)Combine cornstarch and 2 cups of water to make a smooth paste. Pour slowly into pork and veg mixture, stirring until thickened and clear. 7)Serve a 5 oz. portion over a 4 oz. serving of white rice. OPTIONAL- Frozen vegetables can be steamed and served in a 1/3 cup serving on the side. Reduce meat serving to 3-4 oz. served over rice. For 50 servings, approximately 10 lbs. of frozen vegetables will be required
