     Chicken Soup Orzo, Rice, or Noodle

Servings   50 8 oz

Ingredients
3 gal LS Chicken Stock
2 cups diced celery
2 cups diced onion
2 4 cups diced cooked chicken
1 tsp black pepper
2 tsp. garlic powder
2 cups dried orzo (or 1 qt dry noodles) (or 2 cups dry rice)
Bring ingredients to a low boil
Stir in Orzo and cook for approx. 20 minutes
 
2 Tbsp dried parsley

Instructions
1) Combine all ingredients and simmer for 45 min. 2) Add Orzo and cook an additional 20 min. CCP- Hold above 135'for meal service. If saving leftovers, cool to 41' within 4 hours. Reheat leftovers to 165' within 2 hours.
