     French Dip

Ingredients
1 yellow onion, diced
2 c beef broth
1/4 c soy sauce
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire
1 Tbsp mustard
3 cloves of chopped garlic
2 bay leaves
3lb beef shoulder roast
1-2 tsp salt
 
1-2 tsp pepper
8 whole wheat buns/sandwich rolls
Provolone cheese
Butter or clean mayo
Optional- sauteed peppers and onions and mushrooms

Instructions
Add salt, pepper, onion, garlic, broth, soy, worcestershire and mustard to crock pot. Add bay leaves and cook on low for 7 hours
Add roast (tip - you can sear the roast in a pan before adding it to the crockpot. Helps keep flavor)
Remove and shred/slice. Spread either a clean mayo (avacado mayo) or a grass fed butter on the buns. Add meat, cheese and sauteed veggies if you choose.
Broil open faced in oven until bubbly brown. Serve with au jous from crock pot.
