In slow cooker, combine potatoes, chicken broth, chicken soup and pepper. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours, or until potatoes are tender. Add cream cheese, stirring until well blended. Heat until cheese melts and soup is hot throughout.
Optional Ingredients- 1/3 cup chopped onion, 1/2 pound sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled, Snipped chives, add chopped onion in with potatoes. Garnish individual servings of the soup with bacon and chives, if you like.
