     Bars - Coconut Bars

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups cornflake crumbs
3 TB white sugar
1/2 cup butter melted
1 1/2 C coconut flakes
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts
1 can condensed milk
 

Instructions
Set oven to 350 Mix cornflake crumbs and sugar in a bowl. Add melted butter and firmly press into 8x13 pan to make crust. Use backside of measuring cup so it is smooth and flat. Even the corners.
Evenly sprinkle ingredients in this order- coconut, chocolate chips, walnuts. Pour condensed milk over all in a thin stream making sure to cover completely, even the edges.
Bake for 25-30 min until browned on the edges. Let cool for 30 min before cutting. Trick- it is helpful to use sharp knife to loosen all the way around the edge first before cutting pieces. If not cooled enough it will fall apart.
