1. Combine the sugar, ginger, and water in a small saucepan.
2.Place saucepan over medium-high heat, and bring to a boil,
stirring to dissolve sugar.
3. Reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes.
4. Strain through a fine sieve into a pitcher, and cool.
5. Add syrup to carbonated water (2 tablespoons syrup to 1
cup carbonated water).
6. Garnish with lemon slices.
