Spray three 8 inch or 9 inch round cake pans with
cooking release spray. Preheat oven to 350
degrees regular or 325 degrees convection.
Grate the peel of entire orange and set aside.
Inside of orange is not used for recipe.

Open biscuits container, separate and place
loosely in pan standing each individual biscuit on
end. Place one row around outside edge. Fill in
the center with three or four biscuits in a
smaller circle.

Melt together butter and sugar, bring to a rolling
boil. Cook until sugar has dissolved and syrup is
clear. Add grated orange peel and take off stove.

|
Carefully pour hot syrup over the top of the
biscuits. Place pans on a cookie sheet to
catch any syrup bubbling over during baking.
Bake for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Check
to make sure biscuits are cooked through. Take
out of oven and turn over onto serving dish
while still very warm.
