     Dilled Carrots

Ingredients
4 pounds carrots peeled and cut into sticks
1-2 tsp dry dill seeds or one or two fresh dill flowers
4 cloves garlic
Brine-
6 c water
2 1/2 c vinegar
1/4 c pickling salt
bring to a boil to dissolve salt.
 

Instructions
Into sterilized jars place dill and garlic. I use pint jars for this recipe. Pack carrots vertically into jars. Pour brine into jars to within 1/2 inch from the top. Screw on lids to finger tip tight. Process in boiling water bath for ten min for pint jars.
Wait at least 4 weeks for the flavor to develop. You must do the boiling water bath for this recipe Yummy. 5 star
