Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat.
Add sugar and stir until it melts.
Add dates and continue to cook stirring constantly until the mixture leaves the side of pan.
Stir in milk, salt, and eggs, cook for 2 minutes.
Add cereal, nuts, and vanilla, blend together.
Then mix with Cold slightly rinsed hands, and form into balls. Roll in coconut and refrigerate to set
