3 cups butter, softened

1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar, sifted

4 1/2 cups flour

1 1/2 cups cornstarch

nonpareils and/or halved candied cherries

Instructions |

|
|
In a large bowl cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour and cornstarch, beating well until blended.

Drop 1 inch balls onto cookie sheet. Press lightly with floured fork. Add candies.
|
|
|
|
Bake at 300 for 20-25 minutes until bottoms lightly browned.
