     Chocolate-Cinnamon Twists

Category   Desserts - Breads
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
11 oz can refrigerated breadstick dough (can also use croissants for a lighter roll and just cut up)
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips (I prefer the minis)
2 Tbsp butter, melted

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mist a cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Mix sugar and cinnamon together on a flat dish and set aside.
Unroll dough onto cookie sheet and separate into 12 breadsticks. Line 1 breadstick with chocolate chips pressing firmly into the dough. Place together another breadstick on top, then firmly press down on the ends to seal strips together and twist. Repeat with remaining breadsticks and twist.
Brush each twist with melted butter, sprinkle with or roll generously in cinnamon and sugar mixture. Bake for 14 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
VARIATION- Can use raisins instead of chocolate chips. Can also use croissants and skip the layering of the breadsticks. We prefer the lightness of the croissants. The kids eat these very fast, one of Tiffany's favorites!
